Our focus will be on how to use Basecamp for planning routes that you can download to your GPS, and your computer, and hopefully, to share with the rest of the members of our club for future rides. This will be good starting point for anyone new to Basecamp or for those that are frustrated when first trying to use the software. Joe Pasquarello will be the very patient instructor and Chuck Banks will be the willing student, fumbling through his first attempts to plan a route. We will cover how to start with Basecamp, what the various buttons and controls are for, setting up waypoints, searching for gas, food and lodging, etc. After this meeting we will try to have another every week through mid-April then see how often afterwards.
