LAST CALL---2008 RIDE FOR KIDS®
This years Ride for Kids® will be held on Sunday, July 20. It begins and ends at East Century College, 3300 Century Ave North, White Bear Lake, MN. This is a fund raiser for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. You can expect to join hundreds of other motorcyclists for a ride through scenic Washington County. You'll have a great time while raising funds for the PBTF's medical research and family support programs. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. and closes at 10:15. The police-escorted ride starts at 10:30 a.m. sharp, rain or shine. The ride loops back to the college. After a light lunch, participants will enjoy a Celebration of Life program that features interviews with young brain tumor survivors—the Ride for Kids® "stars" of the day. Award presentations to top fundraisers and distribution of premiums will follow. The minimum donation to ride is $35, but the more money you raise, the more premiums you earn. For each $300 you raise, your name will be entered into a drawing for a brand-new Honda motorcycle. For more information, see www.pbtfus.org, or email club member George Doughty at pddought@aol.com.

AUGUST CLUB PICNIC
The annual club picnic will be held again at the Afton City Park. The date is Thursday, August 14, starting around 6:00. This is the same date, and takes the place of our regular club meeting.
Don Sidler will get there early and set up the grills and stoke the charcoal. Once again, the club will be providing the hamburgers, brats and hot dogs. Tim Cusick will bring the buns, plates, napkins and utensils. I'll bring the ketchup, mustard, relish etc.
Club members are asked to bring something to share (hot or cold dish, chips, pie, cookies, etc) and beverages for themselves. Sound like fun? It usually is.
Here's how to get there: From I-94, east of Woodbury, take CR 21 or CR18 south about 5 miles to the Afton County Park in Afton.
